DATING MISTAKES

– Used old or edited pictures to attract potential beaus
– Ate something sloppy on a first date

– Stayed on a date you know isn’t going anywhere
– Gone a second date despite knowing it’s not going anywhere
– Used a coupon to pay for dinner
– Asked how they want to split the bill
– Had sex too quickly
– Laughed at everything, even if they didn’t make a joke
– Mentioned how much you earn in your first conversations
– Talked about your ex on first date
– Planned your wedding after only one or two dates
– Lied about what you do
– Lied about your single status
– Lied about your age
– Catfished someone
– Talked too much about yourself
– Talked too much about sex on a first date
– Stood someone up
– Had sex with someone and took off while they were asleep
– Discussed your date in detail on social media
– Checked out other people while on a date
– Flirted with other people while on a date
– Ditched your date for someone else – while still on that date
– Brought a friend along to dates for moral support
* Boy, that sounds like the worst date ever!
* I’m glad to see they’ve finally taken “farting at the table” off the list. That’s a relief!
* The sad thing? This list barely scratches the surface.
* Stood someone up? That’s not even a date!
* “Had sex too quickly”? Meaning like, less than six minutes?
* I have to agree about the one where they complain about their ex. I always think, “Great, someday I’ll be the one they’re complaining about to some other stranger.”
* I might be old-fashioned, but once you’re having sex with someone, aren’t you past being on a date?
* If you made it to the sack, aren’t you past wondering if the date is going okay?
* Another personal pet peeve is when they keep saying what a good time they had. I always here a voice in my head saying, “Well, I’m not getting any tonight.”
