HOW TO INSURE A SECOND DATE

(May 2017) Dating app Hinge asked 8,000 of their members across five U.S. cities about which kinds of first dates led to second dates. Here are some of the things they found:
– Having alcoholic drinks on your first date are more likely to lead to a second date.
– Second most likely: Having coffee, followed by having lunch or dinner.
– If you’re going to drink, your best bet is a bloody Mary, which had a 57 percent success rate. After that came the old fashioned, with 35 percent, followed by beer at 27 percent. Tequila was at the bottom of the list, at just 20 percent.
– As for food, 24 percent of people responded best to an outing for fried chicken. Vegan food came in at 23 percent. Sushi (19 percent) and pizza (15 percent) were also on the list. Pancakes came in at the bottom of the list with only 9 percent.
* So that’s why my pancakes-and-tequila get-togethers aren’t working.
* Vegan food was only one point behind chicken? Who ARE these people?
* Pizza scored last? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
* I think Hinge is unHinged.
* In your entire life, have you ever gone out on a first date where fried chicken was on the menu?
* The only way this could possibly happen is if the guy took you to KFC, in which case you would not be returning his call for a second date.
* “Thanks for date, Marcie – you were finger-lickin’ good.”
