WOMEN THINK MEN WITH HOT CARS ARE COMPENSATING

(April 2014) A Harris poll commissioned by dating site AnastasiaDate found that a majority of women associate fancy cars with negative character traits:
– Only about 20 percent of women say that they have found a man more attractive after seeing the type of car that he drives.
– 37 percent of women think men who buy expensive cars are compensating for a lack of “something.”
– 56 percent view men who drive exotic or fast cars as being show-offs or arrogant.
– 17 percent perceive them as being insecure.
– 50 percent of women say that a man’s car reflects his economic status.
– 46 percent say that it reflects a guy’s image of himself.
– 11 believe that the car reflects a man’s feelings about having a family.
* With my Ford Taurus, you can bet I’m compensating. I’m compensating for a lack of a BMW.
* Then I just say, “I considered buying a fancier car, but I feel better donating that money to kitten rescue clinics.” Works every time.
* Only 20 percent of women say that they have found a man more attractive after seeing the type of car that he drives? I’d say 80 percent of women are lying.
* Listen, if you can afford to keep gas in the tank, you’re already ahead.
* You can tell this poll is bogus because they used the words “man” and “feelings” in the same sentence.
* Here’s what I recommend: Get a Mini-Cooper with a bumper sticker that says, “I’m compensating for a giant penis.”
* Only 20% of women find a man more attractive because of a fancy car. Hey, 1 out of 5 is more than enough.
* Unfortunately, the cops find your ride more noteworthy too.
* Let’s put it this way: No woman was ever impressed by a bus transfer.
* If this is true – that it doesn’t really matter – then one day Subaru drivers will rule the earth.
