ONE OUT OF FOUR WOMEN DON'T SHAVE THEIR PITS

(May, 2017) Research by analysts Mintel shows that there has been a steady decline in millennial women removing hair from their legs and underarms.
– In 2013, 95% of women aged 16 to 24 said they removed hair from their underarms. In 2016, this had dropped to just 77%.
– Leg-shaving is also falling out of fashion – in 2013, 92% said they shaved their legs, In 2016, that dropped to 85%.
– Industry figures show that sales of shaving and hair removal products fell by 5% between 2015 and 2016.
Among celebrities who have been spotted with hairy pits: Miley Cyrus, Juliette Lewis, and Madonna’s 20-year-old daughter Lourdes.
* Ladies, I don’t care if you shave your pits or not, but if you’re taking style advice from any of those three women, you need your head examined.
* This is a tough one: We don’t want to treat women in an unnatural way, but hairy legs even look gross on a man.
* Hairy legs make me think of Bigfoot.
* Millennials? So – it’s a laziness thing, then.
* Okay, if that’s how they feel let’s go with it … but the first woman who comes up with a hairy back is going to be a real turn-off.
