WHY DIDN’T YOU WORK OUT TODAY?

(April, 2019) A survey conducted by Peerfit asked 2,000 people what their most common excuse for not working out was. Here are the Top Ten Excuses For Not Working Out:
1. Too tired
2. Too hot
3. Too cold
4. Too much work
5. Just ate
6. Walked a lot today
7. Recovering from last workout
8. Gym will be too crowded
9. Taking care of my kids
10. Gym is too far out of the way
* Just reading this list exhausts me.
* Nice list, but the actual reason for everybody is “Too lazy.”
* How about “none of your business.” Is that a legitimate excuse?

The survey also discovered some of the more bizarre fake excuses people have used for not working out:
– My cat is on fire
– My pancreas hurts
– My downstairs is flooded
– I called my instructor and told him I had to take my son’s bicycle into service
– I exercised in my dreams
– I stubbed my pinky toe
– My body is allergic to sweat
– I took Viagra and am too engorged to wear workout clothes …
* … although some people just said “I’m too stiff to exercise.”
* We are a nation of wussies. Very creative wussies, but wussies just the same.
* Obviously, after taking Part One of the survey, everyone then decided to just be goofy.
