INSULTING GESTURES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

(Caution: Rude language)

Going on a holiday soon? Beware – these gestures are insulting to foreigners.

INSULTING TO GERMANS: Slapping your right buttock with your right hand. This means either you deserve a good spanking or worse: kiss my butt!

INSULTING TO TURKS: Sticking a friendly thumbs up sign at them. In Turkey it’s an invitation to gay sex … probably friendlier then you planned, eh? While in Ghana, Nigeria and Sardinia it means stick it up your backside.

INSULTING TO SPANISH GUYS: Clenching your fist and and extending your index and little fingers. This means his wife’s sleeping with another man and he’s too stupid to do anything about it. (How much does this happen in Spain that they have shorthand for it?)

INSULTING TO GREEKS: Thrusting your open palm towards a Greek means “I rub animal poo in your face”. (Ditto.)

INSULTING TO LATIN AMERICANS: Cupping your hand as if grasping a huge huevo (spanish for egg, or slang for testicles). This says the weight of your testicles is due only to your unattractiveness to women.

INSULTING TO RUSSIANS: Making a ring with the thumb and index finger of one hand, like an “OK” sign, and wave it about in front of a man. You’re saying that men use his butt like a vagina.
* Sorry, but I’d like to think insulting people was a universal language.
* Some of these are pretty good. We’ve got to up our game a little.
* The amazing thing: This isn’t even an Olympic event yet.
* What’s the signal for, “We owe your country trillions and we’re never going to pay”?
