YOUNG GENERATION THINKS THEY WORK HARDER THAN OLDER GENERATIONS

Young whippersnappers today think they work harder than their parents and grandparents. Open University, a public research university in the UK, polled 1,000 respondents between the ages of 17 and 18. Over a quarter told researchers that they work harder than older generations.
– 23 percent of respondents already work a part-time job, as well as a “side hustle.”
– 46 percent say their passion – the thing they want to do for a career – is on the back burner right now but believe that one day it will lead to a money-making career.
– On average, a young adult with a side hustle spends about 10 hours weekly working toward their goal.
* And by “goal,” I think we all know it’s making a living from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, online gaming and internet gambling.
* How hard are they working if they have time to answer surveys?
* Yeah, those older generation farmers and salesmen and factory workers and dockworkers and career military men and women had it pretty, pretty easy back in the day.
* Hey, kids, talk to your parents and grandparents about how much harder you work than they did, and post a video of their reaction. I really, really want to see what happens.
