YOU JUST SURVIVED AN AVALANCHE. THEN COMES THE MOOSE.

Three snowboarders were caught in an avalanche in Aspen, Colorado’s Maroon Bowl on Monday. All three victims were caught in the slide and dragged several hundred feet. One of the snowboarders suffered a broken rib after getting pinned against a tree and covered in snow. They were able to free themselves. Two helped the injured man slip down the mountain on his board. While one man went to get help, the injured man and the third snowboarder encountered a moose, which attacked them three times before help arrived and the trio was helped back to their vehicle.
* Well, how would you feel if someone avalanched your home?
* This is why, when I don’t go skiing, I don’t go to Aspen.
* What do you do when a moose charges you in Aspen, Colorado? Hand him daddy’s credit card.
* If that moose had its way, these snowboarders would be decorations of its antlers.
* You know it’s bad when you’re in an avalanche and then fight off a moose and all they can say is how lucky you were.
* Yes, it turned out okay but this is the kind of luck you don’t need.
* The hard part is going to be getting the rest of the bar to believe you.
* “Sure, first an avalanche, then a moose. What came next? Did you get rescued by Big Foot?”
