WOULD YOU GO TO THE MOON?

What with billionaires blasting into space, survey companies are all asking if you – the average person – would want to go into space. A YouGov survey asked Americans whether they would want to take a trip to the moon if given the opportunity and a guarantee of safe return. Half of respondents said yes, they would go, but 42% said they would not. Asked why not, 20% of Americans cited a lack of interest in going to the moon. 8% said: “There is not enough to do or see on the moon.”
* I love America!!!!
* There was a slight increase in interest among rock collectors. But that’s about it.
* Well, what if they built a big slide, or a mini-golf? Would you go then?
* I’d go, but they’d have to let me bring my cell phone.
* These numbers would be closer to zero if everybody knew about the whole you-have-to-wear-diapers-in-a-spacesuit thing.
* You can’t blame Americans. It’s a three-day trip there, you’d sit around looking at walls for a couple of days, and then three days home. It’s exactly like that family trip to your Aunt and Uncle’s house.
