WOMAN SPENDS THREE HOURS IN SEPTIC TANK

A woman was stuck underground for three hours after falling into a septic tank. Tami Camp, 57, of Mullica Township, New Jersey, fell through the rotted cover of the abandoned septic tank around 2 p.m. Her son didn’t hear her screams for help for about a half hour, then went to a neighbor’s house to call 911. Firefighters used a ladder truck to lift the woman from the tank on a backboard. Officials said Camp suffered severe back pain in the fall, but her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. She was flown to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center by medical helicopter.
* Although they dangled her out of the chopper on a cable on the ride to the hospital.
* This happened last week and she’s still in the shower.
* Three hours stuck in a septic tank. What a waste.
* Her injuries weren’t life-threatening but they were nose-threatening.
* After resurfacing and realizing she was in New Jersey, she said, “Can you put me back in the tank?” (* We’re sorry – it’s a cheap joke. Morning Sidekick LOVES New Jersey!)
