WOMAN ON HORSEBACK GETS DUI

A Florida woman was busted for DUI while she was riding a horse while drunk. Police found a disoriented Donna Byrne, 53, riding her horse in the city of Lakeland last Thursday afternoon while reeking of alcohol. When they got her down, they found her blood alcohol content was about twice the legal limit. Police said Ms. Byrne was obviously not in any condition to be on the road. She not only put herself and the horse in danger, but also “anyone who was driving on the road, which is typically very busy.” Byrne’s horse, named Boduke, was carted off to the Polk County Sheriff’s Animal Control livestock facility.
