WOMAN GETS THREATENING LETTER FROM PIZZA GUY WHOM SHE DID NOT TIP

A California woman is seeking a restraining order against a disgruntled pizza delivery guy after she neglected to tip him. Lauren Ledford of Redondo Beach said a four-page letter was left on her doorstep a week after she ordered pizza from the service. The letter included vulgarity and bigoted and sexist remarks, and at one point the person wrote: “If it turns out that delivery driver is me again, and you do not tip yet again, I’m gonna probably going to rob you. I’m joking, but not really.” Ledford, who works in the service industry herself, said that she was shocked to receive threats over what would have typically been a $4 tip. She claimed that she mistakenly assumed that gratuity was included in the cost.
* Worst of all, she didn’t tip him for the trip he made back to her house to leave the note.
* If he worked a week on that note, I’d expect a lot better grammar.
* Instead of the restraining order, how about finding the guy and giving him 20 bucks and an apology?
* Sure – order from the same place again. If you want one of your toppings to be saliva.
* We won’t have to worry about these things once the delivery drones kick in.
