WOMAN FINDS FROG IN TARGET LETTUCE, KEEPS IT AS PET
Becky Garfinkel of Corona, California, was eating a spring salad mix from Target recently. Halfway through she noticed the lettuce moving on its own. It was a small frog. Garfinkel said she completely freaked out and threw up. “I’m a vegetarian and I couldn’t believe there was a frog in there,” Garfinkel said. But then her husband noticed that it was not moving a lot. So he decided, let’s do some chest compressions, with his finger. Then the frog started moving and Garfinkle said: “OK. We have to keep him.” The couple named their new pet frog Lucky. Meanwhile, Target offered her a $5 gift card, which, says Garfinkel, doesn’t even cover the cost of the salad.
* “Target – Expect More … Than You Bargained For.”
* At the very least, Target should give her a year’s supply of mealworms.
* Which she can find in her organic apples.
* It happened in Corona, and after it was over, Becky needed a few Coronas.
* They’re keeping the frog, yet when people find spiders or scorpions in their groceries, it’s smash, squash! Life is so unfair.
