WOMAN FINDS DELIVERY MAN HIDING IN HER CLOSET

A woman in Greenwich Village, New York, came back to her apartment after checking her mail and found a ponytailed delivery man hiding in her bedroom closet. The 40-year-old woman left her apartment door unlocked when she went downstairs to her mailbox about 1 p.m. on January 30, police said. When she returned to her apartment, she discovered the 25-year-old ponytailed man. He said “I’m sorry” and fled, but police caught him. The deliveryman had delivered food to another apartment on the woman’s floor. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass.
