WOMAN FILES LAWSUIT OVER TOPLESS GARDENING

Jenica Igoe, 30, was working in her own yard last summer in Red Hook, New York, gardening without a shirt on, when another woman driving down the road took offense and called cops. Officers, who had fielded previous complaints about Igoe’s topless yard work, simply advised her to cover her nipples, so she bought pasties. She was wearing them when a passerby snapped a picture of her watering her plants. The police eventually arrested Igoe, but a judge dismissed the charges; it’s been legal in New York state for woman to be topless in public since 1992. Igoe has now filed a lawsuit against authorities for violating her civil rights. “Like many people, including millions of men, she prefers to be topless in the summer heat while performing work outdoors,” Igoe claimed in court papers. She seeks unspecified damages.
* Well how do you like them apples?
* A case of insufficient evidence?
* Jenica Igoe, as in “Igoe topless whenever I can.”
* What if you’ve got one of those extra nipples down around your ribcage? How does that work?
* “It’s been legal in New York state for woman to be topless in public since 1992”? That there is what you call burying the lead.
* Working topless outdoors so much, she sounds like quite the hoer.
* As long as she has her bush covered in mulch, there shouldn’t be a problem.
