WOMAN DELIVERS BABY AT WALMART

A woman had her baby while in a checkout line at a Walmart in Payson, Utah. The woman was buying groceries Sunday at the store when she went into labor. It was not the woman’s first pregnancy and things progressed pretty rapidly. Employees and other customers had to help deliver the baby in the store before emergency crews arrived. The mother and baby were taken to a hospital. Both are healthy.
* (On loudspeaker) “Wet cleanup at the register, please. Wet cleanup at the register.”
* “Get me some towels! Home goods – aisle 8!!”
* Then they had to put up one of those yellow “Slippery Floor” tent signs. Yuck!
* The woman was at the cashier, but the baby apparently wanted self check-out.
* First on the scene was the store greeter, who said to the baby, “Hello, welcome to Walmart.”
* Wow, how slow was that checkout line?
* I tell you that checkout line was slow. (How slow was it?) When the mother got in line she was only 6 months pregnant.
* Then she had to turn around and get back into line for diapers and a baby monitor.
* This is one of those stories that’s nicer to read about than to actually witness.
* Hell, this is the wacky news. Most of them are like that.
* Now Wal-Mart is demanding the kid be named after Sam Walton.
