VIRGINIA DRIVERS FINED FOR NOT MOVING OVER FROM LEFT LANE
Thousands of people have been fined in the nine months since Virginia, for the first time, imposed penalties on people who drive too slowly in the left lane. Beginning last July 1, 2017, Virginia set a $100 fine for driving too slowly in the left lane, or failing to stay to the right side except when passing. Over 14,000 people were cited between July 1, 2017 and April 3 with the new $100 fine.
* “Move or get out of the damn way”: a law we can live with.
* The law has so far brought in $1,400,000. With that much money, all the good drivers should get pie.
* Some people try to get out of the fine by claiming God is their co-pilot.
* I’ve always suggested something called “The Ramming Speed Law”, but nobody listens.
* PHONE TOPIC: Would you like this law in your state?
