VICTIM OF HIT AND RUN TAKES SLEDGEHAMMER TO CAR THAT CAUSED ACCIDENT

In Miami, Florida, on Saturday afternoon, several people tried to stop a hit-and-run driver in a silver SUV from fleeing the scene after crashing into several cars. As the driver of the SUV, with his front bumper torn and dangling onto the road, attempted to leave, witnesses and other drivers attempted to stop him. One driver got out of his car with a small sledge hammer and tried (* but failed!) to break the windows on the SUV before it drove away. The driver of the SUV, whose name was not released, was later found and taken into custody.
