UNISEX UNIFORMS IRRITATE BRITISH POLICE, IN THE WRONG PLACES
British police are complaining about their new unisex uniforms. The male officers claim the trousers are crushing their testicles, and female officers say there is an uncomfortable lack of space “between waist and the crotch.” The complaints are coming out as a result of a police uniform and equipment survey. In July, more than 200,000 police officers and staff were invited to give their views on the police uniforms, worn by both male and female officers. The men say the cut of the pants crushes their jibblies, and the women are complaining about, uh, chafing.
* No one likes an uncomfortable bobby.
* Something’s irritating the fuzz.
* The uniform and equipment survey says the uniform is causing a problem for the equipment.
* The uniforms are crushing it, and not in a good way.
* They could have used an extra Scotland yard of fabric.
