TRAPPED IN SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND

Shanghai’s Disneyland Resort abruptly closed Monday to comply with China’s strict COVID-19 lockdown protocols, leaving visitors stranded inside the theme park. The main theme park shut down at around 11:30 am local time and all guests were directed to stay inside the park until they returned a negative test for the virus. They would need to wait for the results of their tests before they could leave. The park continued to operate rides for visitors stuck in the park during the closure.
* Oh, and the rides are mandatory.
* This is like one of those Twilight Zone things – stuck in Disneyland is one man’s heaven, another man’s hell.
* Knowing Disney, COVID tests are available in the gift shops.
* Talk about being Shanghaied.
* What kind of a Mickey Mouse Covid policy is this? It’s Goofy!
