TOO MANY PALACES!

The Times of London reports that new King Charles III can’t decide what to do with all the residences left him by by his mother. There’s Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, and a castle in Balmoral, Scotland, and the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. The problem is that Charles, 73, likes living in Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, and doesn’t like either Buckingham Palace or Windsor. One suggestion is to turn Buckingham Palace into some sort of royal hotel/conference center, and then have Charles’ son William, the new Prince of Wales, move out of his house on the Windsor estate and into the drafty main castle itself.
* Well, they just missed the top of the real estate bubble. Poor timing, Queen Elizabeth.
* It’s hard to believe the royal family doesn’t have enough money for some R-13 insulation. I’ve got an uncle who could install that for them, he’ll give them a good deal.
* They should turn Buckingham Palace into a bunch of escape rooms. They’d make a fortune – legitimately, for a change, not on the backs of colonists.
* How about the biggest honkin’ Airbnb in London?
* Time for the Buckingham Palace guards to freshen up their resumes. Sad.
* Throw in some strobe lights and black lights and loud music and suddenly it’s one of those Meow Wolf funhouse things.
