THE NEW ZEALAND SAUSAGE TORMENTOR

Residents on the New Zealand island of Waiheke are being tormented by somebody leaving sausages in their mailbox. It’s been going on for almost a year. The anonymous Surfdale Sausager has been leaving sausage links, wrapped in a slice of white bread and covered in butter and tomato sauce, in mailboxes. One victim, Jacob, says he has been targeted at least once a month since last April. He thought his friends were playing a joke, until many of them also found sausages in their mailboxes. Jacob says nobody had felt hungry enough to eat the sausages.
* Local police believe the sausage incidents are somehow linked.
