According to Global Language Monitor, which tracks word usage across the internet as well as in print, online, and social media, the two most-used words in 2022 are… “denier” and “Covid.” Here are the Top 30 Most-Used Words and Phrases of 2022:

* I wish we had supply chain blockage of the words Supply Chain.
* If they had only waited another couple of days, I bet “Taylor Swift” and “Ticketmaster” would have skyrocketed to the top of the list.
* What about the word “cohort”? “Cohort” came out of nowhere about three years ago, and now I hear it six times a day.
* They also forgot the words “catalytic converter thefts” usually used with the words “out of control.”
* Oh, I can think of one word I use more than all of these combined.
* In fact, I use it in conjunction with may of the words on this list.
