THE GUY WHO WAS BITTEN BY A SHARK, AND ATTACKED BY A BEAR
This guy has been all over the news: the man who survived being attacked by a bear in Colorado less than a year ago was bitten by a shark in Hawaii. Dylan McWilliams was swimming off Kauai’s south shore on Thursday when he felt something bite down on his leg. It was a tiger shark. He kicked at the shark, driving it away, and then swam as fast as he could back to the beach. The bite left several deep cuts in his leg. But what makes Dylan’s story extra special is, just seven months ago he was attacked by a 300-pound black bear while camping at Glacier View Ranch in Boulder Colorado. In the middle of the night, the bear bit through the tent and grabbed Dylan by the head, dragging him for a few feet before the campers drove it away. He came away from that encounter with several bite marks on his head and neck.
* Dylan said that, for his next tempt of fate, he’s going to try flying Southwest Airlines.
* This has all been great training for his dream job, which is working as the night manager at a Waffle House.
* I’d start hanging with this guy, because NOTHIN’ is ever going to happen to him again.
