THE CHOCOLATE SPA

Just outside of Hershey Park, Pennsylvania, is the Melt Spa, where guests not only eat chocolate but also smell like it. The premise of the spa is based on the so-called health benefits of dark chocolate. Spa Director Shian Wing says the same antioxidant ingredients in dark chocolate can help the skin when applied externally. Treatments at Melt Spa include dark chocolate body wraps, dark chocolate sugar scrubs, cocoa facials and cocoa massages. They don’t actually apply melted chocolate to the skin, but the treatments include the same ingredients including cocoa butter, cocoa extract, shea butter, vanilla essential oil and sugar.
* But if you really want, for a little extra, there’s back room where they’ll tie you down and drip melted chocolate on you.
* At the end, they offer you a marijuana brownie so you can get baked.
* So this is what happens to all the expired Halloween chocolate.
* I get the feeling the spa is staffed by Oompa-Loompas.
* Sure, there’s a worldwide cocoa shortage, but feel free to go get your butt wrapped in chocolate.
