THE BIRD POOP BANDITS

Police in Los Angeles are seeking to identify a couple of pickpockets they have dubbed the “bird poop bandits”. The man and woman approach their victim and tell him there’s bird poop on his back. They then lift the victim’s wallet from his pocket or steal from a backpack while pretending to wipe bird poo from the back of his shirt.
* The old Pigeon Drop scam.
* Reports of their whereabouts are spotty.
* Worst part: the actual birds don’t even get a cut.
* Police are looking for the pair at large. You see, I said “parrot” there.
* Sad to say, but these days you have to be suspicious of people who appear to be nice.
