THAILAND CHANGES NAME OF BANGKOK, IF YOU WANT

Thailand is changing the name of the capital city Bangkok back to its local name. Bangkok will now be known as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, which literally means ‘great city of angels.’ Although they say you can still call it Bangkok if you want and they’ll know what you’re talking about.
* Now THERE’S a piece of information I will never use.
* If you say it with a scratchy voice, it sounds like Klingon.
* Well, there’s goes a whole bunch of Bangkok jokes.
* What do men in Thailand say when they can’t get a date? They say, “I’m just going to Krung Thep Maha Nakhon instead!” Doesn’t have the same punch.
* Any plans to change the name of Intercourse, Pennsylvania?
