TEEN CRASHES CAR, COPS FIND MULTIPLE DRIVING OFFENSES ON HIS DASHCAM

A teenager in Sydney, Australia crashed his car during a street race back on December 12. Officers reviewed the 19-year-old’s dashcam footage after the crash and found 48 other separate driving-related offenses recorded on the camera. Marcellus Otero is now accused of driving under a suspended license, doing burnouts in a parking lot, driving negligently, recklessly or furiously, and many instances of speeding. Otero says, “I’ve got to stop driving like an idiot.”
* Police responded, “We can make that happen.”
* Hmm. I would have said “The dashcam is pointing out through the windshield. You can’t prove it was me driving.”
* So he was driving fastly and furiously.
* The kid needs one of those self-erasing black boxes like that Alaskan jet where the door plug blew off.
* It’s sad when your own car turns on you.
