SURVEY: PEOPLE HATE SHARING FOOD

A new survey of 2,000 people from KFC finds that 49 percent get mad when someone takes food off their plate without permission. Additionally:
– 27 percent dislike the expectation of splitting meals and sampling from everyone’s dishes.
– 53 percent experience “food envy,” wishing they had ordered what someone else is eating.
– 25 percent say they often request a taste of someone else’s food.
* And a whopping 83% get mad when they’re trying to eat and get interrupted with survey questions.
– The top four foods people are most reluctant to share are French fries, pizza, ice cream, and chocolate.
* Yeah, but this is KFC. Is your food really going to be substantially different than someone else’s?
* What prompted this survey? Have there been fistfights at KFCs?
* I don’t mind sharing food, but I draw the line when it’s someone from another table.
