SURVEY: HALF DON’T FEEL LIKE AN ADULT UNTIL THEY HIT 29

A recent survey of 2,000 Americans, from Avocado Green – a mattress company – found half of those surveyed said they didn’t feel like an adult until they hit 29 years old.
– What makes people feel like an adult? Living on your own for the first time (30%); buying a house (28%); getting married (27%); opening their own bank account (27%); and having kids (26%).
* So there are 26% of the people who have a baby and then think, “This would be a good time to go to the skate park.”
* How about when your doctor puts you on anti-depression, blood pressure, or cholesterol medications?
* No one under 29 has been able to afford buying a house since 1978.
* They forgot to list “the first time your hear your mother’s or your father’s words coming out of your mouth”. That’s a frightening moment in everyone’s life.
* In terms of promoting their mattresses, I don’t think Avocado Green got their money’s worth on this survey.
