SURVEY: 3 OUT OF 4 HAVE BUYER’S REMORSE AFTER ONLINE PURCHASE

A new survey of 2,000 Americans by Slickdeals has found that 73% of people own up to 15 items that they now regret buying.
– Some common regrets include feeling like the item was less valuable than expected, not using it as frequently as expected, and having spent too much money on it.
– What do you do with the thing you regret buying? 45% stick it somewhere they know they’ll never see it again. 40% gift it to someone they know. Another 40% will return it.
– More than half of Americans (56%) said that they didn’t remember what they ordered until opening the package.
– Nearly six in 10 also confessed they shop online while intoxicated.
