STORES THAT WON'T BE OPEN ON THANKSGIVING

Every year, there’s a controversy over stores being open on Thanksgiving Day, usually opening at night so shoppers can take advantage of earlybird Black Friday specials. Some stores are already announcing that they will NOT be open on Thanksgiving. Sorry, but you will not be able to shop these fine stores on Thanksgivng Day – you’re just going to have to wait until Friday:
– Cost Plus World Market
– Costco
– Crate and Barrel
– DSW – Designer Shoe Warehouse
– H&M women’s clothing
– Hobby Lobby
– Home Depot
– HomeGoods
– IKEA
– Joann Fabric and Craft Stores
– Lowe’s
– Marshalls
– Office Depot and OfficeMax
– Party City
– Petco
– PetSmart
– Pier 1 Imports
– Publix
– Sam’s Club
– Staples
– The Container Store
– TJ Maxx
* This is so, so brave of The Container Store to give up such potentially high profits that come from people needing plastic storage bins on Thanksgiving.
* I can’t believe I’m not going to be able to leave my family gathering to go buy fabric at Joann’s.
* Are we allowed to camp overnight outside of Office Depot for those big Friday morning savings on copy paper and Post-It Notes?
* Meanwhile, Sears issued a statement saying they will be open, and they’ll even bring products to your home if you’ll just please, please, please spend some money with them.
* Although Petco and PetSmart say they will open in an emergency for Filipino families who forgot to get a turkey. KIDDING! I KID!!! IT’S A JOKE!
