SOUTHWEST AIRLINES PLANE CRACKS ANOTHER WINDOW
A Southwest Airlines flight bound for Newark diverted to Cleveland on Wednesday after a window broke, the airline confirmed. Flight 957 was en route from Chicago-Midway to Newark on Wednesday when it was diverted to Cleveland. The aircraft maintained pressurization as there are multiple layers of panes in each window. The flight landed uneventfully in Cleveland. There were 76 passengers on board. The incident comes just over two weeks after a woman died on a Southwest flight after she was partially sucked out a broken window that shattered when it was hit by engine debris.
* Oh, that’s horrible! They had to land in Cleveland, you say?
* I feel much safer have three pieces of plastic in there rather than just one.
* You could join a whole different kind of Mile High Club.
* Maybe they should consider lowering the cruising altitude to 1200 feet?
