SLEEPING TEEN LOCKS MOTHER OUT OF CAR
Alicia Johnson and her 13-year-old daughter, Savannah, drove to a Walmart in Lindon, Utah. Savannah stayed in the car with the keys so she could listen to the radio. When mom came back she found her daughter asleep, with the door locked and the music playing. For 30 minutes, Alicia tried everything to wake her daughter, from knocking on the window to getting people to honk car horns, and she even called police. An officer used a special tool to get the door open and Savannah finally woke up, asking, “Did somebody break in?”
* I hope Mom hadn’t bought ice cream.
* What was the special tool? The Jaws of Life?
* I’m not sure if I like Alicia. She’s a fan of radio … but then she fell asleep.
* Hate to say it, but this is one radio listener who needs an mp3 player.
* Or an alarm clock app.
* She fell asleep? It’s almost as if living in Lindon, Utah was boring.
