SERIAL TOILET THIEF ARRESTED

Japanese police have arrested a man they believe carried out a series of toilet thefts. Ryusei Takada, 26, allegedly stole scores of toilets from houses under construction in Funabashi City. He worked in the office at a constuction company, and was able to learn the construction workers’ schedules so he could sneak in after they were gone. Takada was caught after he sold a brand new toilet to a second-hand store in the city. (* Oh, a stool pigeon! So THAT’S how they flushed him out.) His reign of toilet taking terror lasted three months, with a total of 18 items – most of them toilets – pilfered from the construction sites.
* Pretty shifty. I said SHIFTY.
* Sounds like the cops had some solid evidence.
* His career in crime is down the tubes.
* Now he’s headed for the cooler. The Kohler cooler.
* I thought toilet PAPER was what everybody wanted?
