SERIAL BURGLAR WEARS SANTA HAT

A Grinch has been burglarizing homes in the Hollywood Hills of California. Home security video has caught the man on two occasions wearing a Santa hat while he rifles through the houses. In each incident, the suspect knocks on the front door or rings the doorbell at homes, and, if no one answers, he breaks in through the back of the homes by either smashing a rear sliding door or back window. Once inside, the suspect removed cash, jewelry, safes and firearms before leaving.
* Police say the man has an accomplice – a little, ratty-looking dog with big, soulful eyes.
* Maybe it IS Santa, and he’s collecting for orphans or something.
* Hey, those elves aren’t working for free, y’know.
* If they catch him, they’ll send him to Mount Crumpit State Penitentiary.
* Nice to see those home security systems are keeping down the crime.
