ROBBERS HIT STORE, EMERGE TO FIND POLICE IN SWAT TRAINING

Seven armed robbers made a bold daylight raid on a Huber Heights, Ohio, cellphone store last Thursday afternoon. Wearing masks and hats, they loaded up on merchandise before leaving after about three minutes. Unfortunately, they picked the wrong time and place – the area was swarming with a large number of police officers from several districts taking part in SWAT training. The robbery call came in, and an officer almost immediately spotted several of the suspects in a white Honda Pilot, which sped away and then crashed into multiple cars before the group fled on foot. The police were able to set up a perimeter throughout the area. All seven – an adult and six juveniles – were soon in custody.
* I’m sure everybody had a good laugh about that.
* Gee, all that trouble with the masks and hats for nothing.
* So embarrassing – AND they’re out a car.
* Folks, don’t rob places between 9 and 5. Wait ’til most of the cops punch out.
