REPORTED BOMB TURNS OUT TO BE ADULT DIAPER

A Copa Airlines flight headed from Panama City to Tampa had to turn back so that a suspected bomb threat could be investigated. It was about an hour into the flight when somebody reported something suspicious in one of the restrooms. The plane returned to Panama City and 144 passengers had to get off the plane so anti-explosive teams could search the aircraft. The suspicious item turned out to be an adult diaper wrapped in a black plastic bag somebody left in the bathroom. And – in fact – it had not even been used.
* Much like the aircraft safety card in the seat pockets – never used.
* That was a close call. It could have ended up being a stink bomb.
* False alarm! Though apparently it was a false alarm for whoever left it in the bathroom, too.
* How about a hand for the team brave enough to search every inch of an airplane bathroom?
