REALLY, WHO STEALS PORTABLE TOILETS?
About 35 portable toilets, some of them full, were stolen from a racetrack in England. The theft happened on Sunday at Ludlow Autograss Club in Pencombe, Herefordshire. The units are owned by Three Counties Toilet Hire which said each porta-john cost about £1,000 ($1200). Neil Griffiths, owner of the company, said whoever took the devices must have done it in four or five trips, adding, “The toilets are not easy to move, and some of them were still full.”
* As the British say, that’s potty.
* Stolen from a racetrack? What are the odds?
* It’s not like anyone’s gonna go up to a guy loading a portable toilet onto a truck and ask, “Hey, where are you taking that?”
* Maybe the thief sells them on the black market. Or the brown market.
* Stealing portable toilets in England must be a going concern.
