QUESTS FOR BIGGER BUTT, BIGGER PENIS LEAD TO DEATHS

A New York mother of two died 12 days after allegedly receiving silicone butt injections at a Manhattan apartment. Latesha Bynum believed she was receiving the injections from a doctor at the apartment on July 15, although the apartment is not listed as a medical address. After the alleged procedure, Bynum began complaining of dizziness and chest pains, and was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Medical Center. She was later declared brain dead and taken off life support. Meanwhile, a Swedish man was undergoing a phalloplasty, or penile elongation and girth enhancement procedure, when things went south. The 30-year-old, who had no prior medical history besides mild asthma, went into cardiac arrest towards the end of the surgery. Doctors tried to resuscitate the patient while he was rushed to an emergency hospital but were unsuccessful and he died shortly after. The cause of death was attributed to a pulmonary fat embolism.
