PUB INSTALLS ELECTRIC FENCE TO ENFORCE SOCIAL DISTANCING

An English pub in Cornwall has installed an electric fence to keep thirsty customers from crowding the bar. Jonny McFadden, who runs the Star Inn in St Just, Cornwall, says he installed the electric fence in front of the pub’s bar for social distancing purposes. McFadden said he wanted “to put some rope, or chain” to make sure customers kept back from staff at the bar but couldn’t find suitable equipment. So instead, he opted for the electric fence to see “what that does.” He says the fence is not usually turned on, but it’s got the desired effect of deterring customers from crowding near the staff.
* And he’s got cattle prods for closing time, I bet.
* If you want to keep customers away from the bar, just put out some cans of Bud Light.
