POKEMON ICE CREAM STICK FORGER ARRESTED

A man was arrested Wednesday near Tokyo for allegedly forging and sending dozens of special popsicle sticks to an ice cream manufacturer so they could be redeemed for special Pokemon cards. Takashi Ono, 43, sent 25 fake popsicle sticks to the Akagi Nyugyo Company which had run a competition in which people could send in rare lucky popsicle sticks in exchange for special Pokemon game cards. The limited sticks were engraved with the words “You win a Gari-Pokemon card,” which could only be seen after eating the ice cream.
* Yeah, you know, we had an attempted coup yesterday here in America. We’ll get back to you about those fake popsicle sticks.
* The authorities couldn’t wait to stick it to HIM.
* Now, just like the ice cream he tried to defraud, he’s in the cooler.
* Just one question … how is Pokemon still a thing?
