PIZZA THIEF OFFERS A SLICE TO A PASSER-BY

Florida police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Pizza Hut delivery man at gunpoint. The driver, Seth Rath, told police shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday that he had a delivery to make when he was walking to his car and was approached by an unknown man pointing an Uzi-style firearm at him. “Give me all your money, pizza and Mountain Dew. You aren’t gonna die tonight,” the suspect said, according to the report. Rath handed over the pie and two-liter bottle of soda and a total of $20 in cash. The robber took off, at one point passing another man – Trenton Johnson, 19 – who said the unknown man offered him a slice of pizza as he went past.
* “No, thanks. That would make me an accomplice.”
* “And anyway, I don’t like pepperoni.”
* He’s like Robbin’ Hood.
* I believe the “time off for good behavior” thing only kicks in AFTER you’ve been in jail, not before.
* “Gimme your money, pizza and Mountain Dew” seems a little specific for a quick, random robbery.
* If a robber says, “Give me your money, pizza and Coke,” does the delivery guy say, “Is Pepsi OK?
* “You aren’t gonna die tonight.” “Oh yeah? Watch this!” #LeapsInFrontOfTruck
* Wow, I feel sorry for the pizza guy. You already think the job sucks, then this happens.
* An Uzi-style firearm? That’s a little excessive, isn’t it?
* Look, a simple handgun would have done it. You don’t need a machine gun.
* Oh great, it sounds like I’m giving advice to criminals now.
