PEOPLE WANT REWARDS FOR LIVING WELL
According to a recent survey of 2,000 people by Walgreens, two-thirds of Americans believe they’d be more motivated to pursue a healthy lifestyle if they received a material reward for their effort.
– 56% would live healthier if they got a financial reward.
– 17% would be happier getting concert tickets as a reward for healthy living.
– 16% think they should get a medal or a trophy of participation for living healthy.
* Lower insurance rates and lack of medical bills isn’t a financial reward?
* How about not dying early? Not substantial enough for you?
* Use the savings to buy your own damn concert tickets! What do I look like, a radio station that gives away concert tickets?
* You won’t get a trophy, but you could live well and end up with a trophy wife.
* I blame this on all the kindergarten teachers who put those gold star stickers on our coloring homework.
