ORGANIC DORITOS

Frito-Lay now has versions of 11 chip brands without artificial ingredients. In other words, you can now buy organic Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos and Cheetos. The lineup, marketed under the name “Simply,” also meets all the criteria needed to be sold in Whole Foods, particularly now that the chain is owned by Amazon. Organic chips are part of a push to build a more healthful reputation for Frito-Lay brands as the company sees an opportunity to reach new customers – and charge higher prices – by targeting organic-food shoppers.

* Good news for you less affluent shoppers: They’ll still have the regular versions with all the artificial crap in ’em.
