NURSES PROTEST NAME OF "ZUCKERBERG GENERAL HOSPITAL"
Former and current nurses are protesting the renaming of San Francisco General Hospital to “Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital”. The nurses say some patients are reportedly fearful that their own privacy may be in jeopardy since the 147-year-old hospital is named after Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook CEO, and his wife Priscilla Chan. The couple donated $75 million in 2015 with a stipulation that the hospital be renamed. One nurse who works at the hospital told the paper that the Zuckerberg name “scares” patients.
* Sorry, nurses – you’re Zucked.
* Tell the patients to relax! Facebook got all their personal information YEARS ago.
* And there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor that everyone who enters Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital leaves with a chip in their head.
* According to Google, “Zuckerberg” means “sugar mountain”. Maybe they could call it that? It sounds adorable!
* So that $75 million went to lower medical costs and reduce hospital bills, right?
