NOMINEES FOR THE TOY HALL OF FAME

It’s time for the announcement of the nominees to the Toy Hall of Fame. The 12 toys selected for the chance to enter the hall of fame in 2017 include:
– Matchbox cars
– My Little Pony
– The paper airplane
– Wiffle ball
– Magic 8 Ball
– PEZ candy dispenser
– Transformers
– Risk
– Clue
– Uno
– Play food
– Sand
Only two or three of the twelve nominees will be officially selected to join the hall of fame. The winners will be announced on Thursday, November 9.
* Kinda ran out of steam after Transformers.
* Sand? Are rock and stick already in the hall of fame?
* What about dirt – sand’s poorer cousin?
* My mom always encouraged me to play with the big plastic bags from her dry-cleaning, yet I never see them mentioned as a nominee.
* Will the Magic 8 Ball win? Outlook good.
* Transformers could sneak in disguised as Matchbox cars.
* Look how they pretend kids don’t play with toy guns and rifles and weapons.
