NAKED MEN LOST IN WOODS

Police in Australia rescued two naked men from a forest after they were startled by a deer while nude sunbathing on a beach and became lost. The men, aged 30 and 49, called for help about 6 p.m. Sunday after they became lost in the Royal National Park south of Sydney, while the temperature was dropping to around 37 degrees Fahrenheit (3 degrees Celsius). Their rescue involved police aircraft, the State Emergency Service and ambulance officers. They said they had been sunbathing naked on a beach on the South Coast when they were startled by a deer, ran into the national park and got lost. The younger man was found naked and carrying a backpack while the older man was partially clothed. The men were fined $1,000 each for breaching a stay-home pandemic order. Police Commissioner Mick Fuller described the pair as “idiots.”
* Sunbathing. Right.
* Well, they certainly had enough time to concoct the “deer on the beach” story.
* A deer on the beach. Must have been one of those Australian Surfing Deer.
* Are the deer in Australia out to kill you, too?
