MUSEUM OF CANDY OPENING IN NYC

New York City is getting a Museum of Candy this summer. The 30,000-square-foot pop-up museum is being opened by the Sugar Factory, an international dessert chain. Visitors will learn the histories behind their favorite candy, and learn how some of it is made. In addition, there will be the “world’s largest gummy bear” and other interactive installations.The space will also include a café, restaurant, dessert-only food hall, marketplace, candy and dessert-making stations. A second location is also slated to open in Los Angeles in 2019.
* Don’t lick the exhibits!
* You’ll learn how the inventor of Raisinettes was a farmer who got the idea from his pet goat.
* They’ve got an entire wing explaining exactly what those orange Circus Peanut things are.

* They will have an original box of Jujubes, discovered in a cinema concession stand in Des Moines last week.
