MONOPOLY THEME PARK OPENING IN AUSTRALIA – TELL THE KIDS!
Ooo boy! A huge, multimillion-dollar Monopoly theme park is about to open in Australia. A $20 million Monopoly-themed indoor park – the second of its kind in the world – will open in Melbourne on September 1st. In the park – described as a “fully immersive experience” – guests will be invited to tour Mr Monopoly’s glitzy mansion before proceeding into the city, where they can earn Monopoly dollars playing a slew of interactive games. Or, you can simply steal it from the Monopoly bank. Monopoly bucks can be spent at the theme park’s cafe and retail store. You can take a 4D ride on the Monopoly Railway (whatever that means), or take a mugshot in a life-size version of the Monopoly jail.
* Well, that’ll take care of the first hour. Then what?
* Tell your kids! And then, stand back as they all yell, “What’s Monopoly?”
* Could they not get the rights to Parcheesi?
* Just like the Monopoly game, it goes on forever and nobody ends up winning.
* Personally, I think you’d have more fun in a park full of Chutes and Ladders.
* What Aussie lad or lass wouldn’t want to run free in a theme park version of America’s Atlantic City, monument to failed casinos and shattered lives.
